Another slow day..........

56.7 degrees and Summer Sunny

WKTV's forecast: "High pressure builds back into the region today, drawing in some of the warmest weather we've seen this summer today. Expect plenty of sunshine this afternoon, with highs in the upper 80s. This is perfect beach and swimming weather so long as you make sure to bring the sunscreen. It will feel a bit humid, especially by the evening.

Clouds roll in tonight, with the chance of a shower or thunderstorm towards tomorrow morning. Overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s. The A/C will come in handy tonight.

A stronger cold front moves in Wednesday, bringing us relief from the heat in the form of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 80's. Some of these showers and storms may be on the stronger side. Stay tuned.

Cooler, but drier on Thursday with a return to sunshine. Another surge of heat and humidity expected on Friday. More showers and thunderstorms expected Friday evening.

A pleasant stretch of weather expected this weekend with sunshine and highs in the low 80s."

Remember this? Six months ago we couldn't wait for Summer!
