The Polls are Open!

GOOD NEWS!

Just in: "Olive" came home at 2:30 this morning!

***********

IT'S ELECTION DAY!

42 degrees F. / 5.5 degrees C. and cloudy

From WKTV: "Cloudy and generally dry to start out the morning. Temperatures are above freezing, in the upper 30s and low 40s, so no frost to chip off the car this morning. Some sprinkles are possible at any point through the morning as a wam front passes through the area.
"A cold front moves in early this afternoon, bringing with it some scattered rain showers. Temperatures stay in the 40s this afternoon. Once the front crosses the area, the winds will pick up. Sustained winds after the front crosses will be 10-20mph with gusts over 25mph. Winds die down this evening, with perhaps a leftover sprinkle. Overnight lows in the low 30s.
A mix of sunshine and clouds on Wednesday, but cooler with highs in the mid 40s.
Another storm system will draw even cooler air into the region. A mix of rain and snow showers are expected on Thursday and Friday, with little or no accumulation expected. Highs both days only in the low 40s!"

Political signs seem to have been planted in clusters wherever the most people will see them.

Elsewhere, harvesting goes on as usual, building repairs continue ...........

............... and stacks of cord wood are growing.

The bandstand looks much better with its balusters all in place!

On Sanger Hill Road.

Bright berries have replaced the pretty blossoms of the Briar Rose that bloomed in the Spring ........

............... and Bittersweet hangs, as always, just out of reach!
