WKTV's forecast: "Good morning Central New York! Cold weather will be the story today, with some improvements in the temperature department as we head into the weekend.

Waking up to temperatures in the teens and single digits across Central New York. Bundle up as you head out to school or work this morning.

Cold weather for the remainder of today, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs only in the teens, with wind chill values in the single digits most of the day. A few flurries will continue for areas south and west of Utica, but the majority of the area is expected to stay dry.

Clearing out tonight, with overnight lows between -5 to +5 across most areas.

Warming up a bit by Friday and Saturday, with highs in the low to mid 20s. The next chance of snow showers are expected on Sunday.
